Born in South Carolina, Coco Jones is a singer, actress, recording artist, athlete and honor student who hails from Nashville, Tennessee. The daughter of former NFL football player, Mike Jones (Tennessee Titans, St. Louis Rams, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals), and talented session vocalist, Javonda Jones (Ronnie Milsap and more), Coco has been singing and performing across the U.S. with her sights set on the rest of the world since she was nine years old.
Coco is honored to be a 2010 Radio Disney Next Big Thing (N.B.T.) Artist. Her debut CD, "Coco Jones", released in 2010, is a best-selling selection on iTunes and eBay, and her concert series, UBU-STOP THE BULLYING, has her loyal fans of all ages all across America begging for encores of her wildly popular songs while embracing her platform of positive values and strong self-esteem.
Her YouTube performances for over 40,000 fans each at two St. Louis NFL games have gathered almost 1,000,000 views combined, as well as countless words of praise from people all across the world.
Coco is the youngest artist among many of our most beloved country stars on the Bleve Records compilation CD for which all proceeds go to the Fireman's Fund for disaster relief. Her powerful rendition of Aretha Franklin's "Chain, Chain, Chain", accompanied by the renowned Motown group, The Funk Brothers, is a stand-out favorite on the CD.
In 2009, Coco was chosen to perform live on the Maury Povich national television show, The Most Talented Kids. Recently, she has been in the recording studio with Grammy-nominated producer, Rob Galbraith, co-writing and recording all-new original music.
In addition to her musical performances, Coco is a fabulously talented young actress. She studies with revered acting coach Jamie Donnelly, and is a dedicated student of the craft. She appears in a National PSA series by Dr. David Katz entitled "Nutrition Detectives", which promotes a healthy lifestyle for kids by way of good nutrition and physical activity. She also performs in the children's series, "Webster and the POD Squad."
A lover of all types of music, Coco's favorite artists include-CeCe Winans, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Miley Cyrus, Raven Symone and all of the Disney greats.
