 If you like fast-paced, slapstick comedy and the good ole fashioned way of country folk, You'll come out to see Granma and Granpa Cratchet!How will you know them? Believe you me, when you see them, you'll know it's Granma and Granpa. First of all, they're professional "Sesame Street-type" puppets, but you'll soon forget that detail when you meet up with Granpa. He'll be driving his Old time Huckster Wagon. If you ask what a Huckster Wagon is, you probably didn't grow up on a farm near Sharpsville, like his creator Samuel L. Bowman did. You wonder where that is? It's near Kokomo, Indiana. Anyway, if you figure it's out in the sticks, you are right on the count. Granpa's Old Time Huckster Wagon is fashioned after a real truck that travelled the local country circuit in the 1950's. It was a grocery store on wheels - a cross between a school bus and a gypsy wagon. Now, if you aren't taken back by a puppet driving a miniature truck, you will be when he drives right up to you and tries to "sell" you some of his Home Remedy, or Miracle Wonder Drug, Old Time Elixir, Lot-A-Bull Fertilizer or Hog Wash. He claims they cure everything from stunted growth to baldness and waxes the kitchen floor at the same time. The best is yet to come.
